Being bored while doing a strip down of my car, decided to strip and build the alternator as haven\'t cracked one in many many years!
What a bugger it was getting it back together!
Not too shabby...... :(
Had to replace the bearings on my first gen once, horrible job.
Tip - if you push the brushes in, there is a little hole in the casing so you can put a pin in to hold the brushes back for assembly.
