Well after me taking my fd to bits i\'ve finally got my finger out and finished the job. On a contingency plan on the air pipes side with silicon bends instead of alloy (waiting for them at min). Pullig very nice under boost and had no spikes, but still only running at 0.5bar ! Glad i\'ve done it now, saved rushing at the end and have a couple of questions !
I\'ve noticed my water temp is higher, as expected. Its running about 85-90 deg on low boost, but doesn\'t want to go any higher than 93ish. My airtemp is worrying me more. At the min the temp is staying at 37-40 deg, regardless of the situation. Only been out on a quick run, so will have a better look tommorrow on a good run ! I think its down to my position of my air filters, they are drawing in alot of warm air in the engine bay, so want to fix that quickly. Big question is what should i do with the filter and could i position a big single one lower down and draw in more cold air. The pipeing will be fun ! Just wondering what other people have done to improve the air temps !!!
