I hooked up my 4 ags yesterday and was looking at my air fuel ratio at idle as it runs really rich. When sitting there idling you see puffs of black smoke coming out. The readings I got atidling apprx 750rpm was fluctuating between 12.8 12.9 at it\'s richest and 13.1 13.2 at it\'s leanest how rich is this ?? what is the normal air fuel ration of a non modified fd?
what\'s yours idle at max ?
I need to find the time to get the thing tuned.

Idle makes you cry don\'t it!
Mine runs about 12:1 at idle, a little more before its warm due to the cold enrichment which is added before water temp builds up.
If you want to lean it off a little, go to your injection map and change columns n01 and n02 which all read approx 1.2 and alter them to 1.1.
This should get you down to about 13.5:1 or thereabouts. You may want to take these numbers down even further, but you may find that your idle starts becoming a little rough.

Do I need to do it all the way down or just to say 10 columns down ?? Idle intermittantly gets rough, when it does I look at my wing mirror and see black smoke coming out my exhaust.
