Title: askin for trouble?
Post by: lithebod on July 07, 2003, 11:10:14 PM
Im looking to buy an RX as a daily driver - I do about 8 miles to and from work round trip- will this be bad for the engine if its driven too little on a daily basis - a mate reckons it will "clog" up the rotors whatever that means - Im no expert on all things rotary I just love the way they look and go....any thoughts welcome

It should be ok for average commuting. There is no such problem known as "clogged rotors" Tell your friend to stop spending so much time getting pissed. It\'s rotting his brain. :rollin

Can you not get carbon build up from doing to much town driving and not enough WOT?  I know it doesn\'t do your plugs that much good!!:(

its been said on these forums that at least 1 red line per drive is good for it.

and i thought that a short drive every day (well as long as it warms up properly in that time) is a lot better for it then a drive every so often because it prevents carbon build up!
