Post by: sdminus on April 26, 2005, 05:30:09 PM
I have got the chance of a set of 18,s at a very very good price. Only prob is they are only 7.5 in wide. Will these be ok on my fd or am i wasting my time

I\'ve got some 18" rims that are only 7.5" wide and the only prob is on the rear they could probably do with spacers as they are set into the arches a little.  Apart from that i don\'t suffer from any handling or traction issues!

I had the opportunity of getting some tasty 18s at a good price but the only catch was 7.5 width fronts and 8.5 rears. After some research I came to the conclusion that it would be better to have the 18s 8.5 width all round at the very least (or 9.5 rears would be even better). Hope this helps.

Sorry to hijac   but I take it that the width wont be an issue (as long as it does\'nt rub etc.)

so could I order some wheels at 215x45x17?
Title: you sure could

Wicked! :D
Yeah 225 all round.  I would like to stick to that or go wider on the back... (have to save up some more then! :cool  )
