Finally changed all soft pipes for hard pipes and replaced all hose clips. then turned the boost up from 0.74 to 0.9. Took it to a BMW rolling road day at Falkland performance and acheived 340bhp fwhp and 282 rwhp. Thats 25bhp more with the increase in boost and the lack of a collapsing pipe than i got at Noble with the MRC rr day.
The boost contoller (greddy profec b II) is kicking in and there is a drop in boost before it increases again half way through the run, which leads me to think i dont have it set up right, where am i going wrong?
Attached is the scan of my print out, any ideas guys? The car is running non sequential by the way..
Cheers
Donato
here is the graph..
IS that drop not just when the second turbo starts spooling up?
thought that was pretty normal.
Im running nonsequential, the last power curve before i sorted the collapsing pipe i had was very smooth all the way up..
Do you have any graphs showing boost and afrs?
Hi Max,
They had the afr on screen but sadly not on the print out and they never did the boost. The afr was pretty constant through the run..
At knockhill on friday it was boosting quite quickly to 0.9 on initial throttle then the boost controller would knock the boost back down to about .7 then with the throttle held down it go\'s back up to 0.9 and holds it perfectly for as long as i liked, well until the braking zone came rapidly apon me! :D
Have you checked the boost warning level?
The set up instructions are here:

Boost warning level was set at 0.95. Thanks for that Max, i will set up according to those instructions tonight and test it on my private motorway between Edinburgh and Glasgow. I think it is definitly the lack of knowledge on my part with the boost controller.
Thanks again
Donato
Good stuff Donato, looks like she\'s running nice and healthy:cool
Paul:)
Good stuff matey :)
Thanks guys, im happy with the figure, i didnt think it was 315 at the flywheel that it got at nobles. Just need to figure out the boost controller better! :)
