gavin..
Hi on a 20b its on the underside of the ali bend before the throttle body, i would think its in a similar area on the 13b. The sensor is only about 1/3 the size of a normal temp sensor with a 2 pin plug to it.
Regards Kevin
Don\'t know myself, but maybe this diagram will help (Item #2)
Hi Gavin
Yes it\'s the the same on your engine, look for a small sensor thats upsidedown with a blue plug on it.
Thanks guys just found it :) , what a place to put it !!
Any idea where i can get an air temp gauge so i can put just after my I/C to see exactly what temps im getting..Ive looked up halfords for temp gauges(just basic thermometers with an LCD display) but i need one with a quick refresh rate..

Hi I got mine from here http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/design/dualgauges.asp Not cheap, but very good gauges, you can set the built in LED to warn you if the temp/pressure goes above a preset level. Plus you get two lots of information in one gauge.
To use one to measure inlet air temp you will have to buy the optional thermocouple kit. I have mine installed in the elbow before throttle body. It reacts very quickly, which is more usefull than the information you get from the Mazda one via the PFC commander.
Kev,
Here is most of the page. You can download the whole manual but it may take a while I seem to recall it\'s pretty big.
