Cheers bud , I\'ve read a few other people have done it with no ill side affects so I might get rid of it , think I\'ll just clamp the vac pipe first to see if it feels any different first

No I think it stays open , according to Rob Robinettes site this is what he did before he removed the butterflies , I\'ll check though

By the way when you removed everything I assume you get rid of the actuator as well ? what did you do with the vac hose ? did you just leave it , remove it and blank it off or leave it on and plug it ???

removed every thing,
iv gone single turbo so under the upper manifold i had a few nipples for vac pipes left doin nothing,i used a short bit of pipe to blank of 2 nipples,
u can get little caps that go over them or jus bung some thing down the vac pipe,

Did you find it doesn\'t like idleing on Cold start?

I did this to a Tuned T2 and i had to kep the revs up over 1k for a few seconds then it would idle about 900-1k for 1-2 miles then warm up properly and it would go to the 1300rpm where its suposed to be.

I do also have a Knightsports big throttle body which i don\'t think would help matters.
