My friend has a Mazda RX7 Turbo2 (FC3S), it has a had a Full Engine Rebuild 30k ago and New Ball Bearing Turbo, so runs fine. It has a HKS Hiper Muffler Exhaust System, no other mods at the Moment.
My question is, he is looking for a Higher level of tuning, its going to be for Mainly 1/4 mile / Drag use. What sort of power can the standard Rotary internals take? i.e (Engine/Gearbox).
Also how would it be best to go about tuning the car?, what items would he need?
He is looking to use the HKS T04R Turbine kit, what sort of Engine tuning/accesories would be needed to compliment this level of power? Also what kind of power could he expect !?
I would be Very Grateful if you could help me out here as we are not sure where to start!

the turbine kit will come with down pipe and air filter, he already has a system on. you will need a high pressure fuel pump and it will have to be re-wired. this is so you get a full 12 volts to the pump. you then need bigger injectors and a new ecu. also a fmic.
you should then have 350bhp. its probably a good move to get a better clutch and some fatter tyres.
