Post by: kav on April 19, 2005, 12:11:50 AM
Guys my clutch pedal sticks when I press it in somtimes,I looked at the clutch/brake level & the cap is split, would air getting in cause this problem, If anyone has a cap for this I would be willing to buy it.I presume I would have to bleed it.Thanks in advance.

A split cap should not make it have air, but does needs replacing as it sits over the turbos and could cause a fire, nip down to mada, they can order one in a couple days, 3 piece set, cap, rubber & washer part number T060-43-55Y or D code 43-552S
Check the level its probably low so bleeding is a good idea, if it has gone low bleed and check you master or other cylinders are not leaking.

Had a similar problem with mine.
Had to keep topping up the clutch/brake resoviour every few days. Mine eventually went with no pressure in the clutch pedal (luckily 50yrds from Pips door). Replaced some hoses and all ok now. I\'ll check my bill when I get home and give you an idea of cost just in case its the same prob as mine.
