Was a great weekend for weather so I decided to take the plunge and try some of the Meguires stuff. Bought the Soft Wash Gel, the Gold Polish and the Clay substance to remove the overspray etc.
The results speak for themselves and as soon as I drove out the drive on the way to the missus house 3 lads pointed at me coming up the road. When I passed them they all shouted...."nice car mate".
A few of the ladies in summer attire also liked the look of the motor........the missus wasnt pleased about that though !!!
Very impressed....even though it took about 3 hours !!! :rollin

and finally....
looks quality mate bet your gald you took the time to do it now.... shame i haven\'t got the same mentality as you
maybe my car could look that clean.
:wave :wave
one of my friends used that polish at the weekend and he says that it done a fantastic job of his car.
would you say it is noticeably better than any other polish you\'ve used?
Looks really good chap. I love the black ones, looks very stealth.
I\'ve used Autoglym Super Resin Polish and Gloss Finish. Very good at getting out ingrained tar and dirt as it has fine abrasives in. Using the gloss finish gives an excellent shine and water beads off nicely when it rains.
I\'m now using Meguires Nxt Generation Tech Wax and Meguiars Nxt Generation Spray Wax. A lot easier to put on, doesn\'t leave white stains on window rubbers and smells fantastic. Found these products don\'t get engrained dirt out so easliy but good as a top up wax.
A few of my mates also use Poorboys products with good results but don\'t have personal experience.

Tell you what though - the 3rd pic with your reflection in it..... freaky - look at the bumper (it looks like you\'re sitting down), now look at the lights (looks like you\'re standing up!!!!) Freaky!

looking good :) i used meguiars on mine at home over easter and it took ages to polish off but did look great. i want to do it again but here in norwich at uni i have to park on the road, and don\'t fancy looking like a twerp polishing it for 4 hours on the road!
I\'ve just done xomething very similar, (hence the thread)
you just don\'t het the same results from silver cars that you do from black cars. I love the mirror finish that black cars produce.

Do it mate. Its a good way to pull the ladies.
