Title: Footwell vibration
Post by: PETE SMITH on April 17, 2005, 08:32:35 PM
I\'ve had this for a while now, but can\'t work out what\'s causing it!
The facts:
1-Only occurs when turning wheels to the left-before full lock.
2-doesn\'t need hard cornering  to cause it.
3-It\'s an odd vibrating feeling down by the pedals mainly.
4-recent new suspension-was happening way BEFORE this was fitted.
5-Cant see steering rack touching anything it shouldn\'t be.
Anyone one any ideas?
Cheers
Pete

Have a look at the inside of your tyres to see if they are contacting anything and also check your fluid level because if it\'s level is low it can set up a viberation

Hope this helps.

Hi Clive,
I presume you mean power steering fluid level-i\'ll check it out-though not sure what the recommended level is on the reservoir neck!
Thanks for your help
Pete

You will see two lines on the side of the reservoir that will indicate the level for you.
