Just been phoning round for insurance on the RX - renewal this weekend.
The renewal from Aon was over £2.5k and all other companies were quoting over £2k.
The car is 9 years old so can\'t be insured as a classic till next year, and I\'m 29 at the mo so don\'t get the over 30 option till next year. Oh yeah, and thanks to my accident at Christmas, I only have 1 year no claims at the moment. Oh yeah - and I don;t have a garage :rolleyes:
I called up //www.carinsurance4U.co.uk on 0845 4080747 (ad on page 149 of Jap performance this month. and they\'ve given me a quote of under £1400 with all mods etc. declared!!! That is limited milage and not for commuting but still a great deal as I was paying more than that last year before the accident!!!!
Needless to say I\'ve bitten their hands off and I\'m sure they could help a few more of us save some cash by actually listening to us and understanding we\'re not chav\'s with novas. LOL
If you call them then ask for Chris and tell him he was recommended on Mazdarotaryclub by Shark :D

Update:
Called elephant to cancel my insurance and they came back with a new price of £750.50! Now thats gooooood!!!
This does not inc. breakdown cover but as a MRC member we get good rates from the AA & RAC.
try Chris again mate, and tell him what you\'ve been offered.
He might be able to beat it for you. (and I get a kickback on their introduce a friend thingy if you mention me ;) )

Just had one phone me back will not insure if bhp is 25-30 over standard.
Pretty good for me, £840 if wait till 25 with accident last year.
