Hi guys, iv got an oil leal coming from one of the turbos, but im not sure which and where, is it fairly easy to get to and remove because i aint got a book because its a jap import :(
Iv read a few threads on it but looks quite complicated??
Any help and tips would be great
:wave
its hard to say really.its all the bits around the turbos that make it a long job,u wona hope its an easy leak to sort out,
id say its not hard, just takes time,
hoping its just a pipe, but was told it could be the seal away.. at least its not fae the engine :)
Is this bad for the engine? is it still ok to drive lol

???? I cannot understand this post!
Oils leaking from my turbo and its the pipes or the seal??!
get a pro to do it not worth the hassle
Ah, OK
it can be done at home, and there is a guide to turbo removal on the web.
it is a HUGE hassle, though. All right, probably your turbos wont have to come off. Its most likely the join where the oil pipe joins the turbo. Or, if you take a look underneath, there are 2 pipes to drain the oil away. There are 2, they go from the Turbo to the sump. The gaskets in these are notorious for leaking.
Martiny, you need to ken how tae speak the lingo ken! ;)
interloper393 - its not the easiest job in the world to get to the turbos.
If you are down there it might be advisable to remove the turbos and replace all the gaskets, and remove the inlet and replace that gasket too...as the inlet can only be done with the turbos off.
Cheers

Ahh i see lol, how much you reckon it`ll cost for all the gaskets for the turbo then guys? i take it they`ll be paper instead of the metal ones?
If i remember right the inlet is metal and the oil drain for turbos are metal, the turbos are heat resistant material i think...dont know the name of it, cant remember how much they were either...sorry..
Dont suppose you can reckomend anyone up here for the job?

Everything iv read and everyone iv spoken to says you can register a car on the japanese export certificate because there perfect, no errors etc.. guy there says, " errr ummm hmmm i cant read japanese..!!" fooking spoon lol..
Here the thing k.. if you translate the export certificate, which i add you can do yourself, you can cahange the year of the car to say, 1993 to a 1998 and theres no way of proofing it with a translation, all you need to do is burn the real copy then your free lol
Its now going to take another week to sort out the translation and i might yet, get ma car register ...
Its in July so hopefully you will be sorted by then! :)
Will do ma best m8 :).. will def pop in and see you when i pop up to that garage ..:)
Cool, i work at Powerwall Systems, just across the road.
