Title: Broken into last night!
Post by: DRAGON on April 12, 2005, 12:04:57 PM
Got a call 12.30am to say there was an intruder alert. Drove down there thought it was a false alarm. Then found 3 guys trying to break in from the rear. Shouted and gave chase (luckily I had a baseball bat). Chased them for about a mile uder stationary trains and over fences! Eventually caught one of them and held him until Police turned up.
So if anyone has any parts going out please give us an extra day as we are patching up the outide at the moment.

Sorry to hear that Ross.

Glad to hear you caught one of them, just wait until he sues you for mental anguish at being chased etc...  ;)   Only kidding.

Nice to think one of the chav scum might think twice before robbing some other hard working individual.

Cheers,

Richard

Glad nothing was taken and that you caught at least one of the guys. Winds me up something rotten, when people think that they don\'t have to work for a living and they feel that they can just help themselves to other peoples property, who have more than likely worked extremely hard to get said items:rolleyes:

Well done and hope you get some evil dragon guard dogs installed incase there is ever a next time:bandit ;)

Paul:)

I don\'t know the details, but any sane justice system should laugh that back in his face.  I guess you can\'t really give details on the \'apprehension\'?

Sorry to hear that Ross,

At least you got one of them and they\'ll know the place is alarmed up now so might not try again.

Get a guard dog for the premises works wonders, i believe you are moving soon so hopefully the new place will be well equipped for intruders

they always do try to press charges for assult so that you drop the charges against them.  When we got broken into last time and caught an intruder it was the police who suggested it to the intruder.  That way they don\'t have to to do any paperwork.

I thought they changed the law on intruders recently or does that only apply in your home if you feel threatened or some crap

I just can\'t believe you will get done. The police know they are scum.
The little tossers know the system and how to work it.
You had a bat and presumably never used it so that shows restraint. (if it was me id have broken I rib or two!)

although obviously the bloke deserved a slap, we all know it

however the law is against people taking the law into their own hands, always has been

Well if they do try and charge you it`s dead easy - track him down and beat the crap out of him and then at least charges are warranted. Oh, and make sure you break his fingers so the thieving scum can`t rob anything in the future.;)

Im sure there\'ll be something silly where its ok to restrain people IN your home or on the premises, but chasing them down a railtrack with a baseball bat and THEN doing it is a no-no :rollin

The laws on this sort of thing need to be changed, i would think twice in breaking bones if i found someone trying to break into my house

Worse still if they went round the back and ran into our ZEUS !!!! :rollin :rollin

:reallymad ffs I hope it gets laughed out of court as it should.

If it does\'nt tell them you know someone who will give him counselling free of charge of course. I find working on the 1st knuckle with a ball pein hammer does wonders for sufferers like them;) then when all the fingers are nice and bloody and purple not to mention broken. they seem to be racked full of guilt for there actions.

Cant stand T leaves, they should be shot.

Y\'spend all the time you have making a success of something, then some mindless idiot trys to have away with your things.

I\'m just glad you didnt ignore the alarm and went prepared (read: bat in hand).

If it does go to court, maybe we should all go round this blokes house and help ourselves to some of HIS stuff.

I always fancied having a TV i didnt pay for. :reallymad

Good on you Ross & glad the little or big sh!ts didnt get away with it, as above fair point not commenting on it for legal stuff an all that cr4p Hope it doesn\'t go down the unreasonable force line just cause you had a bat, dont suppose you\'re a member of any late night baseball clubs are you? ;) but if it does i hope you got a good strike in
Uncle Si will buy you a beer if i see you at any of the stay over shows & you can tell us all about the Ross Justice system

Just about sums this asshole country up, where a worthless, thieving c*nt is percieved as the victim. The little sh*t shouldn\'t have even been allowed to press charges. I really feel for you mate.

good on ya for catching him ross.

there is a big problem with the justice system in this contry though. i was knocked off my bike 4 years ago. it went to court today and i lost compleatly as there was nothing supporting what i said.half arsed investigation. the guy was not insured and rides like a **** but won a fortune.

should have beet the names of the other guys out of the first guy then go round and cut there hands off. and say you were in bed all night:D

Nice one Ross, i had a similar situation not long ago, luckily the court threw out his claim of assault.
Glad you\'re ok.  Any signs they had been casing the place?

Glad you cought up with one of them ross ,

I had a similar thing 3 years ago some lad was trying to get into my car whilst at a mates set the alarm off we went out and he said he just walked past , 10 mins later windows were smashed an hes legging it down the road we caught him and well used a bit of excesive force and he gets fined for the damage to the car , few months later i get charged with assult

even though i was provoked.
