Title: Not to sure about a test iv done..
Post by: interloper393 on April 08, 2005, 05:29:32 PM
Iv just removed the filler cap for the coolent when the car was cold and toped it up.. left the cap off and started her up.. the coolent just kept coming out till about a quater the way up the heat gauge, no bubbles or boiling so does this mean my water seal aint broke?

I\'m not quite sure what you mean by the water kept coming out but ... with all the caps off the water should not  spill out, if you are bleeding the system you may get some slop out when the larger air pockets make there way out but any significant water loss is a bad sign.

Soz  umm when the engines running the water is always just above overflowing and keeps coming out, but the coolent lites not coming on and the temperature gauge is working correctly, buzzer works because its usuallt pops on for a sec then goes off again..

Sounds like mine was when the water seal went.  Get it along to a specialist for confirmation though.

There was a huge air block in the pipes bud, flushed the system and know shes stopped leaking coolant, hope all goes well now lol
