Title: Blueprint clutch update

Hi,

Received the clutch kit yesterday. I thought I would put up some pics of it to see what you think.

It\'s a 3 piece kit, cover, plate and bearing. No \'Pilot\' bearing like I have seen in this type of kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7965794395&category=33730

I have been told it has a higher clamping pressure and good for 350rwhp, but no drag racing :(

It\'s an NKK disc with 6 springs (If that means anything!)

Hi Trevor,

As you appear to be unsure of the Clutch that we have supplied and assurances given about it\'s quality (which is excellent BTW),  you can if you wish, return the unit and either use the credit note to put towards a next stage up Centerforce clutch as offered before the sale, but l do feel that this would be money that you would unnecessarily spend given your level of mods that you have told us of.

Alternatively we will give you a full refund as we have never had dissatisfied customers in three years of trading and do not wish for any.

p.s. l personally used this very centreplate to run a 12.2 up the drag strip with 425 rw HP.

p.p.s. please let us know if your not fitting this clutch as you are booked in for fitting tomorrow.

Many thanks  Clive

Hi Clive,

Just an update. I had the clutch fitted by Gary Gooding on Monday as planned. I must say, he is a top fellow and I was very pleased with his professionalism, friendliness and overall service. Much much better than what I got at DS Engineering.
He even offered to lend me his car (His RX which had not even finished its breaking in!) so I could kill time in the town centre. I took his daily runaround instead in case something happened to it.

About the clutch, I was just concerned with some feedback which seemed to indicate that it was completely stock. If you are prepared to say in public that it can handle that kind of power then it\'s most certainly enough for me!

The cluch was fitted and everything is ok now. The fork was broken which is what started all the clutch and bearing problems.
Pedal operation is surprisingly soft, but great to drive.

The midpipe and catback was also fitted without any problems.
The angled exit of the HKS muffler looks great.

The car now spools very quickly (it was quick even before!) and my Mine\'s ECU seems to be doing its job ok. Looking forward to getting on the dyno now :) Lots of pops and cracks from the exhaust is fun, although pretty loud.

Thanks for your help Clive, and I can say I have been very happy with your service  from start to finish.

Regards

Trevor
