That\'s the second FD I\'ve seen from Japan now with a lifted bonnet. Is it a drift thing to aid cooling when going sideways?

According to the details i\'ve got it\'s some sort of spoiler - looks more like an intake to me, but it\'s got that on the headlight so dunno. Will be changing loads on it anyways.

The bonnet being fiited sitting high is to help with cooling, much like a vented bonnet.

Ahh... does that mean it\'s a simple job to drop it back down again??? I\'d prefer it to look slightly less like \'please pull me now mr rozzer\'

although i know they will do anyway!!:rollin

Yep they are simply alloy spacers, you may also have to adjust the locking catch slightly so that it\'ll lock when the bonnet is in the normal position.

Looks nice:cool, I\'ve just bought a black FD, will be the summer track car for me and my associate (housemate ;)) well once it is up and running....

Really dont thing 3 spokes suit the rx at all tbh, but i know theres other people who will disagree, but with rx7\'s i think deep dish 5 spokes look rather good no ??? :)

£250 a set!!!! Damn, thought i was sitting on something expensive then....lol.

I agree with Gurj though that 5 spokes look much better - will be getting some as soon as the cheque book allows!!!!

id not sell the wheels for less than £500 if i as you ,

its the freight that hikes up the price of em,

they are expensive and desirable wheels and around £1300 new for a set

looks a very nice Rex :) all the best with it

Nice car.

Running a V mount Intercooler with high flow turbo\'s mapped at 0.9 bar.

Bonnet is purely a cooling measure. More so seen on drag cars in Japan.

Cheers for all the comments.... one thing though. All those toys on the interior pic, does anyone recognise what they all are! Looks like one is a sat nav device but that wasn\'t mentioned on the spec. One in middle of dash is fuel to air ratio maybe??????

Spoiler is really extreme, but it has FD\'s organic lines. Altogether, it looks realy evil :)

But the weels really aren\'t my cup of tea; 5-spokes will do the job very well.

Oh, about the hood spacer. I would REALLY like to see some more pictures of it, and where can I buy it? Is it really switchable, easy changeable to stock position? That really sounds like a great solution for venting heat away from the engine bay!

Freddys right, looks like mazdaspeed gearknob too prb could be short shift unit, ties in with the design of driftness of the car,

looks like blitz voice guide timer on there too (right of the wheel)

Trust double piller pod

Cheers guys.... i\'d never have worked all that out from the pic alone. Not sure i need all of it, but..... toys are fun!

Soru, when it gets here i\'ll take some piccies of the bonnet for you b4 i change it back. Keep your eyes peeled.

Yes please mate - would love some more snaps, i\'m still waiting for further details to come through from Japan. Should be a couple of months and obviously, after it arrives you\'re all gonna get real sick of me posting up piccies of it from every conceivable angle.:rollin

I dont know about the FD specifically, but on most cars the bonnet spacers dont work and can mess up airflow.

Obviously its ok when its at standstill though.

Hmmm, don\'t like the look of them much myself either, when it arrives i think i\'ll take them off, have to see under the bonnet to check regards intakes first though, might have to be a vented bonnet!
