2nd gens have an airpump.

TBH I would check and retighten all of the belts anyway.  Most belts availble from Halfrauds etc are a pretty bad fit in the Vee\'s and so wear quickly and may be causing your noises.
Look for a black subsatnce collecting on the front of the alternator, thats your belt breaking down...

Squeak is pretty common on the belts, if its not the belts I will be very surprised.

Check the power steerings bogey wheel/tensioner, if its the culprit give it an oiling.

Belts can be super tight and still squeel/squeak....
To elimate the belts (which is what I think it may be), just spray some water on the belts and pulleys while the car is idling.

If it goes away, then it was your belt(s)......  or even the pulley(s)

It could be the bearings on a pulley wheel.  I have a similar problem at the moment.

Start your car, reproduce the noise, then spray a pulley wheel at a time with WD40, then try and reproduce the sound.  If the sound goes away, then it\'s a pulley wheel, but the WD40 will only stop the squealing for about 1 minute :(

Being from Japan it would be quite important that it ither has an Airpump fitted or a dual Alt Pully with twin belts.

The reason is the big Clutch fan on the water pump pulley takes some turning and if the air pump is not on it there isn\'t much pulley to belt action going on. I have a case where it started overheating due to pump not being spun properly.

Also it may be worth pulling the belt of and deglazing the pulleys (where they contact the belt) this is the main problem as the new belt does not get rid of glaze and if the old belt was slipping they can do a nice polish job.
