Post by: liamsmith on April 04, 2005, 07:25:13 PM
After driving my coolant/water is very hot, it is bubling and steam comes out of the overflow bottle at the left of engine as you look at the car, then when my car cools the water condenses and my water level is low!!!! Should my car get that hot, what is the problem, what garage could help???

Saw another thread similar to this very recently, he was having similar problems. You might have a leak in the coolant system somewhere so it is not pressurized which is why its bubbling over, check around the ast. Have a search through this section you might find the thread, ill have a quick look myself

Quite often it is caused by 2 things, guys filling the tank down by the drivers light, which is the expansion tank, it should be filled at the small neck almost centre of engine bay on front of engine. Or the small tank again in front of engine bay, just behind rad (AST) the pressure cap needs replacing, check both of these first.
