Post by: Draco on April 01, 2005, 05:56:34 PM
just installed 3 defi gauges with the link. I got my ground and illumination from the dash light brightness switch and the perm live and ing live from the sterio.
k now that works fine i installed the sandwich plate that goes between the oil filter so i can have the reading of the iol pressure/temp went to put oil filter back on but the plug that goes in the stepper motor and a little adjustable screw that is situated above the oilfilter was in the way so i unsrewed the screw and unplugged the plug...
hay presto all finished. BUT now i have hte heat switch lamp on hte dashboard all the time. I have checked it out with my apexi fc commander and it is illuminated in there too!!!!!

any ideas ( also what is that srew is it a idel screw as it is reving higher now).

any help apreacheated

Stepper motor?I take it you mean the TPS switch on bulkhead side of throttle body and screw that is below/beside TPS switch.

They hunt when the TPS switch is out of range or throttle body settings are played with.Did you adjust TPS switch, move it up or down, did you mark screw before you undone it so you know where it was before? You can see if TPS switch is out of range by looking on your commander under sensor check, you will need range settings from manual.
