Title: Apexi Power FC fitted
Post by: kerniki on June 29, 2003, 11:48:57 AM
Hi all,

Fitted my Power FC & commander this morning, excellent bit of kit, easy to install (1 hour).

Was told by the dealer to keep an eye on the Injector Duty Cycle % before playing with the boost levels, a safe limit is about 90% apparently, soooo, it was runing 80% max, turned up the boost so the cycle now nudges 87% (to be safe).

My question is, is there any of the other adjustments I should be looking at, have read the manual back to front a couple of times, so know how to make adjustments, but don\'t know exactly what I should be looking for.

Any pointers? (also on how to remove grin from face?) :D

Hi Nik,

Great stuff!

The PFC is quite clever in that it will do most things for you.  There are a couple of people on the Forum who are pretty clued up with it (Ross - "Evil Rotor" is one of them).

If your injector duty goes any higher, I would start looking at modifying your fuel system etc.

And as a real guarantee of everything being ok, I would check the tuning of it with a proper Lambda Sensor (Geff at //www.reworx.co.uk has one of these).  This will check to see it is running rich enough etc.
