Damn Sean.. Would have liked to see how your twin handled on track.

I\'ll be back there again in June to have some more fun.

The gold EGI was from Belgium I think.

Loved that Exige on track. Proper rocket. :)

Thanks for the links Rene :)

haha!! Caught out with a smoking engine!

It was just a coolant blanking pipe that had split, fixed in about 5 minutes.

Thanks for the compliment Iain, it is currently on Racing Beat springs and Koni adjustable dampers, but I\'m upgrading the suspension. It is forever bottoming out in Fuchsrohre :(

If you get smoke or steam from your engine bay on the NS parking lot, someone will make a photo, which will make it online somewhere :D.

Coolant blanking pipe, don\'t know what that is, but as it\'s about coolant (leaking?), I assume it could have gone very wrong if you hadn\'t noticed it in time?

Fortunately, I noticed the steam just before I was going out for yet another lap!

H

The Golf had a ruptured fuel line I believe, and that is me pulling over infront of him, because my water temp was showing 130 degrees C!!!! I wanted to make sure I hadn\'t dumped my water. The white CRX behind me came with us, I just got past him when I noticed my water temp

Out of interest, how many miles is it to the ring from Calais?
Title: Nurburgring
Post by: t2rew on April 08, 2005, 06:09:16 PM
about 300
Title: Nurburgring
Post by: 20B_boy on April 08, 2005, 06:32:16 PM
Its easy mileage tho, nice 90-100mph cruise with very little problem areas, apart from may be the ring road around Brussels. TBH, it flew by the other week. Biggest hassle was the M20/M26 (I think) on the way there and back - UK roads are just crap :reallymad

Thoroughly recommended :D

300 miles..? Is that all..so once off the ferry it\'s about a tank and a half...mmm. I think I may be up for the next trip:)

i am defanitely  going to go in aug. there sounds like quite a few of my mates are going. it would be wicked if some rex\'s were going at that time too. i think is around about the 12th or sumit. its the same time as the old timer racing thingy

There was some interest on FDUK, I think there\'s around 5 or 6 of us looking to go around August 24th (someone correct me if that\'s wrong).  I\'m pretty sure that\'s still the plan.
