how do the rear seats cum out,i need to run some rca leads under the seats:D
Not sure, as I\'ve yet to try it, but where are they headed? If you\'re cabling up to the dash or the centre \'armrest\' then you\'d be better off wiring around the rear speakers (pop off covers, easy to see where you\'re going, etc), alongside down the door trim and either all the way up to the footwells, or across under the front seats depending on where you\'re going (quite easy to do). I\'ve just hooked up an amp in the rear with an mp3 player in the ashtray, and re-wired new speakers in the doors too, if you think i can help then just shout.
I want to eventually remove my rear seats anyway, so if there\'s no reply from someone else in the meantime, i\'ll let you know how it goes, but i can\'t see you really wanting wires visible between the rear seats and the driver seats? there\'s nowhere to hide is there? :)
..removing the rear seats is pretty easy. It was the first job i did on the FD. Your looking to remove the rear side panels, unclipping them from the main body of the car. You need to remove the door kick plates (either pastic or metal) first, unclip the clips hiden by the back support of the rear seat (fold it down and you\'ll see them) and it\'ll come away with a little bit of force. The top section (back support), is bolted in place. Fold the top section down and undo the bolts and removing that section. The bottom part of the rear seats is clipped in, im sure you push the bottom section towards the rear of the car and it should come loose....it needs a bit of a shove. Its metal clips so they wont break.......thats about it i think!
Hope this helps.
