Sorry for going over old ground, but I have been reading a lot of posts about coolant and am a bit confused.
Have read that red coolant is very bad, green is good, but can\'t seem to clarify about the blue stuff (that I am using). When the car came back from WGT it had green, but I am topping up with blue......is this bad?
Or is it not just about colour, but about chemicals? If so, what chemicals should I be looking for/looking to avoid.
Again, apologies......just getting a bit panicky as.......
.....touch wood........everything has been going well recently and I don\'t want that to change!!

best not to rely on the colour to identify coolant, though green is typically used for the traditional EG and red/orange/pink often for the extended life products (avoid)... but not always! Halfords own brand for example is blue which is the \'normal\' stuff so would be ok to mix with your green.
If you\'re concerned drain it and start again with a product you know then you won\'t lose any sleep over it :)
