After weeks of hanging around my LIM is back from being polished, plus some of my fuelling parts have arrived.
I have gone for the LIM from Excessive Motorsport http://www.xcessivemotorsports.com/merchant.ihtml?id=10&step=2 this allows me to run on one fuel rail, has all the emission ports missing and equal runners on both rotors.
I will add some more pictures when fuel rail is built and installed.

Nice.
I\'ve seen that LIM before, looks sweet :cool, I like the single fuel rail idea aswell. Interesting project, so keep us upto date :D

This is going to be interesting! :) If you don\'t mind me asking, how much did the manifold set you back including all the shipping and asshole tax?
can u tel me about the fuel rail and injectors, where did u get them from, iwent on there site, couldnt c any thing,
I bought blank fuel rail and injectors from KGParts, see link at top of page. I still have to machine rail and brackets to mount, I will add more info when this get round to it.

Is there any benefit of running a single fuelrail instead of 2?
I guess it gets a little simpler with just one...
I wonder if there\'s any chance of running 2 sets of primaries with that manifold? I mean if you wanted to build a big power car, 4 smaller injectors has gotta be better than 2 monsters in terms of fuel atomisation and stuff? Only problem would be controlling 6 injectors instead of 4.
I have 6 injectors on my T88 single turbo.
The two additional injectors are controlled via a Greddy Additional Injector Controller.
You just set the parameters for boost level and RPM\'s on the controller, once they are set the additional injectors come "On-Line" once the parameters on the controller are met.
Awesome, cheers for that! Where are your additional injectors mounted?
The additional injectors are mounted on the elbow that comes off the plenum (see the pic below)
Nice set up. I\'ve never seen additional injectors mounted up-stream from the throttle body before. That T88 must almost be as big as the engine! What sort of power is she chuckin out?
Not alot at the moment - Needs new plugs, has a FCon Pro V Ecu, but am swapping that for an Apexi shortly, so will be easier to tune.
At the moment running at 0.6 - 0.7 bar and making a measly 296.3 BHP via Noble Motorsports.
But Pip at WGT is going to give her an extremely good going over when he fits the Apexi to make sure there are no other niggly little things stopping me from getting the power i should.
Once all this has been done, hopefully in next 2-3 weeks will post my new power figures on here, and hopefully they will be a damn sight better!!!!!
At Last... I have installed some injector inserts to my Excesive LIM.
Oh Yes, also machined the fuel rail, made some brackets and got it all to fit. The end result is.....
Now thats a rare sight for an FD fuel rail. Need to find some nice stainless steel bolts, then decide what to use to get fuel to and from the rail.
Does it ever end, so many jobs, so little time.
Sweetness! What injectors are you using? How are you going to block up the injector holes in the primary ports?
Injectors are 2 Off Bosch 160LB, 2 Off 82LB siemens. I am going to make some plugs to fit in the original primary ports, held down with a small plate using the original fuel rail bolt holes.
Kev
The stock ports have little plastic difusers in which helps them not to flood, do you think you will have a problem?
also, the primary injectors being so close to the block changes the torque pattern, do you know if it will have much effect on your power curve?,
Why change the manifold, are the runners bigger?
regards
Tony
There are lots of cars running the same secondary injectors in which the plastic diffuser is removed, so not anticipating any flooding problems.
The runners are the same as standard, but they are equal on the front and rear rotor. on the USA RX7 forum there some discusion that the standard unequal LIM causes lots of motors to let go.
Its nice to try something different, the single fuel rail was very appealing. I dont have any data of what effect moving the primary injectors back will have.
Kev
Have now got fuel to and from the rail. Man Earl\'s connecters soon add up to a lot of money:eek:
oops..
Thats better.
Earls connectors do look the bees knees but like you say do add up.
