Title: Non Rotary Question
Post by: oRi on March 06, 2005, 07:01:32 PM
Hey Guys,

My daily drive is a ford focus and being that i have absolutely no technical knowledge whatsoever thought maybe someone on here could help with the following problem:

My clutch pedal and drivers footwell are wet with a pretty much odourless but greasy compound.

Anyone have any ideas only found it cos the foot was slipping on the clutch but kinda paranoid incase its brake fluid or something.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Stu

Sounds like a leaky master cylinder. they often leak into the floor well.

i think the focus had a hydraulic clutch so it could be hydraulic oil so you could need a new Clutch Master Cylinder :(
