Before people tell you what clutch to buy, give us an idea of the intended use, hp and torque expectations for the motor in the end. Also, are you bothered about pedal weight? on/off delivery? do u have any material preferences? single plate ok? budget?! Whats the cars main use going to be?

Don\'t just jump in ask around and just because it\'s the most expensive it doesn\'t make it the best. What do you want to do with your FD are you going to push for high BHP and if so will the clutch you are fitting now take the bhp you are thinking of later on. I\'ve put off sorting my clutch until now. Now that it is running sweet and has a solid power curve i can feel that the clutch is not man enough to take the boost i can lay down. I am going for the same clutch as Spotlamp its the one that Geff is running in the 10sec car. But it is very usable in traffic as well as on the track.
It is what you want it to do when everything is taken into account. Best of luck in your search for the Holy Grail.

i\'ll be running around 450 to 500 flywheel horsepower. not really bothered about drivability and pedal feel as its not going to be driven on the road that often.

Might be as well to ring Geff at Reworx ( link on this site ) he is putting out 570+ at the rear wheels on the clutch i have decided to have. If it\'s good enough for the fastest RX 7 in the country it\'s good enough for my FD.:cool

Sort your buget and then look at what you can get.
Cusco, http://www.rotarytarts.com/acatalog/RX7_FD.html
Exedy http://www.rotarytarts.com/acatalog/Exedy.html
all have clutches that work that bhp, most info is on my site, some will be noiseier than others, and some will last longer than others, in my car which should be running between 600 and 700 bhp when finished I have opted for Exedy, they make the om clutches for Mazda anyway, seem quieter less rattling and some of the carbon (dear) clutches will last twice as long as some of the other makes, so somethings cheaper is not aways the cheapest option in the long run.
Most info is here though.

I\'d go along with that, they\'re Xtremes and single plate.  It\'s marginally heavier than stock, doesn\'t make much noise and has good feel.  It\'s fairly easy to drive in town as well which I was thinking it wouldn\'t be...
