Title: Bullet mirrors
Post by: mpk490p on July 31, 2004, 07:17:51 AM
After much searching i have sourced 2 maybe 3 pairs of right hand drive bullet mirrors, would anyone be interested in the extra pair/s?
Not sure of costs yet with shipping but i think its gonna be around £80 - £100
it may seem a little expensive but think of  the speed you will gain without those barn doors!!!

Wow!They\'re really cool!Do they still have the electric adjustment facility?Been thinking of doing something about my mirrors for ages, these must reduce the drag coefficient to about 0.24..!Or something!:)

i have found a guy who is going to source these mirrors from friends and breakers he knows, this will be a lot easier than trying to source from differnt people, he thinks the costs will be $90to $100 for the mirrors which are more expensive than other people so i will work on that, im hoping this will bring down the shipping costs although i will then have to repost out to yourselves, i have no idea on how much tax will have to be paid on these either (any ideas?) sorry for being vage but i know as much as you shipping for 1set was around £25 so i imagine they will be around £75 to get them to me plus tax and then postage from me to you\' can serious people please pm me
thanks

By the way have you got an oil filler cap for a 12A in your pile of spares?  I\'m still using a green emergency petrol cap!

Just sent the one i had to Travelling bob, will keep my eyes peeled for ya though.
the speaker sounds like a good idea, i managed to get a space saver alloy which weigh\'s half the weight and takes up half the room so theres space for some speakers and amps,
think they were fitted on the us ones, its a 4 x 113.4 so its all good
be good to see some pictures of the mirrors and the sub

I bought these mirrors (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-CELICA-TA22-TA23-RA28-a-pair-of-door-mirrors-NEW_W0QQitemZ160064028786QQihZ006QQcategoryZ122164QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) from Thailand the other week....they took just over a week to get here and the fit the standard holes with a bit of massaging, not bad for 25 notes
