Title: FD air con
Post by: edward4 on June 23, 2003, 11:22:12 PM
My air con works sometimes but when the weather is hot it doesn\'t seem to be cooling the air at all. I checked wit a local garage that advertises air con repair to see if the refridgerant gas could be topped up. He told me that as the car was a 94 he could not top it up because older cars used a different gas which is now illegal to supply.

Can anyone shed some light on this or advise of an air con specialist in the south east.

I think there\'s a sticker on the underside of the bonnet which states what gas is in the air con system.

(My car is also a 94 and it takes R134a.)

Cheers,

Steve

Oi, Mr. Large Member post up the details. I need to either re-charge the aircon on my MY92 FD or remove it and save the weight.

Thanks
Dan
