Title: Lights condensation
Post by: Archbish on February 28, 2005, 07:22:20 PM
I suffer from soggy rear light syndrome.  it\'s very sad and I wanna know ways around it!

The lights have little air holes for them to breathe, and only one does it, and collects quite a significant amount of water after a few weeks...  I\'ve put silicon sealant round the edge, and that doesn\'t seem to have helped.  Any ideas anyone?

Cheers

Remove the lights, smooth over with fibreglass and paint purple! For that smooth as a babys bottom look and feel!

However if you feel that brake lights and indicators and such like are important then you could try removing the lights and drill a small drain hole (2mm) on the underside to allow the water to drain...?

cheers
