Title: dirty filters
Post by: G@NDY on February 28, 2005, 07:04:28 PM
Just a quick question, i was wondering if you had an apexi intake system (or similar cotton filter) for instance can you clean the filters if the are covered or do you have to replace them? If so what could you use and would they have to be re-oiled? if they are already.
Cheers Andy.

Hi

I had the same quesiton about a month a go and I was advised to use the K and N recharge kit, so I did and it worked a treat.

Follow this link, it has some useful info

That sounds promising!! Is the K&N brand new to the rx? as you dont here of anyone running them? (only the rx8 fellows) if so how do you think they will perform against the market leaders ie Apexi???
