That has just been on ebay, ended yesterday. Reserve not met at 16k. Had a link to their garage, with about 40 pics. On was of the sticker on the door jam, and from memory, it was RB-Special Edition.

Link to pics:

did anyone on here use to own that car?? anyone know its history?

Would a W or Y reg RX-7 be pretty reliable as it would be my only car for a while

As with any car, reliability will depend on how you drive it and how you look after it (with the odd dog thrown in for good measure). The previous owner notwithstanding, of course.

For example: I had a 92 FD, had 120,000 miles by the time I sold it, and in 5 years never broke down once. Only failed to start once, and was a corroded earth lead, easily traced and fixed. Other than that, it ran faultlessly.

Yes, post 99 FDs had major modifications, mainly to improve driveability. I\'d check that one out a bit closely, the advert says completely standard, but you look at the pics and you see RX8 wheels on it, and hard pipe intakes from the air filter. There may be other stuff to. Best be careful and give it a good going over first.
