Was a bit dark but you get the idea ;)
Bodywork is lovely, just got to repair the front lip (possibly this weekend if I can be arshed). Seems to be running ok now (blitz dumpvalve was sticking open, sorted that). Really thought I\'d hate the rear spoiler thing but must admit when I first saw it sitting there in the flesh it looked a great match to the rest of the car.
Didn\'t know the model of the car when I bought it but done a bit of research on here (and saw the sticker in the door shut:o ) and found out it\'s a type R2.
Mods include..
Rebuilt Engine from Reworx
Tein coilover suspension
Kakimoto twin exhaust (my ears are still bleeding as I write)
HKS Panel filter
Blitz SS BOV
HKS Hard Pipes
Front and rear strut braces
Nice wheels (not sure on the make?)
Still running the engine a bit carefully as it\'s only done circa 1000 miles. When I\'ve done 2,500 - 3000 miles and I\'ve done a couple of oil changes and put a new fuel filter on I\'m going to go for the APEXI power FC and get it mapped properly (as I\'m aware the mods may not be supported in the fuelling department). To be honest though I haven\'t checked the ECU.
Anyone know what the switch in the centre console (with RE and some Jap writing, looks like the RE tuning co logo but also looks like a stock switch) does?

She looks a beaut :cool I really love these cars in white; shows the lines of the car off nicely. I have to get one in black though as my last 3 cars have been white
Looks very nice in deed:D
The little switch of "death";) will be attached to an RE-A ecu which will hopefully be mapped to your cars mods. It basically turns the boost up once pressed in, not sure what value, typically 1 bar maybe even 1.1 :eek, but if you take a look at the ecu the codes and spec should be written on it. These ecu\'s tend to be pretty good, although remember they are tuned on 100ron fuel in Japan.
Hope you enjoy,
Paul:)
i\'ve got one of them switches & a redom B ecu mods on engine are re-a exhaust, airfiler & a larger trust smic as far as i know. takes it up to 1 bar
Thanks guys:cool
Wahoo \'switch of death\', I wondered why it felt slow when I bought it and now it spins the wheels in the wet in 3rd gear, that\'ll be after I pressed the switch then LOL:rollin
Going to do an oil change and fit my Defi boost gauge tomorrow (also got to tax my new work hack too as I\'m too :o to keep using the rx7)
Another question..
How much should I be paying for a fuel filter?, I asked my motor factors and they said £37 (blueprint part). I thought it sounded dear but when I was buying some oil in halfords I asked them and they had prices ranging from £60 up to £75 from 3 different suppliers to them (all local motor factors, incidentally the motor factors that quoted me £37 were the ones quoting £75 through halfords).
so does the switch permanantly switch to 1bar until switched back to lower?, or is it just on until ignition reset?
Dragon do a full service kit for 75 quid which included filter, plugs belts, check out the vendors advertisment section,

Cheers
Nice car mate, front splitter looks like a RE:Amemiya.
Thanks for the info Eddie. Cheers Steve.
Right done oil and filter change, earthing leads to engine and chassis and fitted my defi boost gauge and controller this afternoon..
Don\'t seem to be getting any missfiring on WOT as I was before so hopefully earthing has sorted that.
Also found I have a standard ECU and the RE switch has had it\'s wires cut (so presume it was changed at REworx)
I thought the switch was having some performance difference but it turns out it\'s just a weird boosting then not boosting problem which I\'ve gone into more detail in my latest post on this thread in technical http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=12776
Pretty sure the 2nd turbo is not operating in any way
Thats really nice !! Makes me want to powdercoat my new wheels white more (going to ask for some photoshop tommorrow, hint, hint ;) ). White is such a nice colour as long as its clean ! What width are the rears ???
