Title: Auto Gearbox problem?
Post by: framey on June 20, 2003, 03:48:24 PM
Hi, I have a 92 twin turbo with an automatic gearbox. The "Hold" light on my Tacho flashes slowly after moving off. It flashes until I finish my journey.
Pressing the "Hold" button on top of the gear selector makes no difference. The circuit is ok as before moving and in Park it switches the hold light on and off as normal.

Can anyone help???

Thanks

Hello mate,

It may just be a loose connection between the main ecu and the loom or the auto ecu and the loom that they\'re connected to. Have a look and let us know hwat you find. It may also be the ecu itself, could either of them.

Thanks Brian,
will check those out.
I\'m off to the states for a couple of months on Monday so will do it when I get back.
Hope you\'re right  - the Mazda dealers in Tunbridge indicated it could be expensive!!

I\'ll let you know what happens.

Cheers
