Im waiting till summer till i hook mine up, the pipe is in there tho.

How do you find your 75 shot?

What turbo and ecu setup have you got as im worried about boost creep.

Cheers Andy

I will be running nitrous. Just sorted out my Skyline and devising a way to make most of the kit (well the pulsoids anyway) easilly transferable to the Rex. Lots of people have said don\'t do it which is making me even more determined to do it!

a bit disappointing to be honest. expected it to be much better. just feels like a slightly weeker 3rd turbo coming in. dont know what management im running had work done on it in japan. but its 370 bhp on twins. dont get any boost creep either.
if i could go back id have spent the money else where instead of nos i think.

RX Jamie, what nitrous kit are you running and where have you located the injector nozzle. You should get far more that a "weak third turbo" effect if it\'s set up properly.
For turbo cars the best method to actuate the nitrous is to have it triggered by the throttle position sensor to start injecting at 80% WOT, rather than WOT. This spools the turbos up immediately. Also, with a good 75 hp kit you should get a realistic 110hp on a turbo.
Some nitrous kits are crap though and not very effective due to all sorts of aspects such as pipe diameter. Too large a diameter such as with braided hoses really reduces the effectiveness of the system. As does locating the solenoids and nitrous line in a place that\'s not cool enough.
Anyway, interested to know what kit you have and how it\'s installed. On my Skyline GTSt even with the 25hp jets there is a signifcantly improved take off and spool up of the turbo. It\'s a Wizard of Nos kit and the components and support are superb.

its a wet nos fogger system. its installed in the charge pipe about 6 inches from the throttle housing. there is a noticeable increase in turbo spool up but i usually only use it in 4th or 5th if im lagging behind something faster. mind you i dont have a bottle heater so if its cold outside i get no go go.
