Title: Tein Adjustable - how do I adjust it? :)
Post by: M@r]{ on February 10, 2005, 12:44:25 PM
Its way to stiff for country roads, must be as flat as in Japan!   Anyway, just want to soften it up a little, has anyone got any guidelines / tips?

Thanks
Mark

Which model of Teins are they? most have a knurled adjuster on the top of the strut that adjusts harshness. On my old HAs I used to have it about 5 or 6 clicks from the softest setting for the the road. Much more and it was way to crashy for Berkshires sorry excuses for roads :(

If they\'re adjustable there\'ll be a twist nipple(:D ) at the top of each strut.  In most cases, covered by a black rubber cap...

To get to the back ones just remove the covers by pulling them up which are behind the back seats...
