Hey Guys
Any useful bods out there with photoshop. Can someone make the car in the attached image red? Just want to see how the rims would look on a red FD.
Cheers
Stu
bit rough and ready - good enough?
Cheers Jinx
Not rough and ready at all looks excellent. Thanks for that mate.
Stu
Oooo Look at you Jinx, image wizard!! :D :cool
Red with white wheels looks really nice!!
Heh Jinx
I play with photoshop but wouldn\'t have a clue how you did that, was that easy to do ?
John
Hey Jinx
Think we all could do with a tutorial on how to do that, any chance?
Stu
Go to adjust image, choose selective colour, then choose colour you want to change, then play around. You can get some really suptle effects.
Pete.
Stick with the black mate, looks good
i\'d stick with the black aswell
"...was that easy to do?" John F
Not ignoring your question John - it just seems Explorer is making the decisions about what it will show me and when.
You can do it with selective colour changing as per Peter\'s reply but I\'m afraid I just cheated for speed - duplicated the layer, made a layer mask and then bullied the colour curves. I don\'t know what the LE version of Photoshop contains in the way of manipulation tools if that is what you are using. This was done in the full version which allows for masks on on individual layers as well as alpha and colour channels.
Perhaps we should put together a photo retouching stand for Rotorstock to raise more money for MRC - "all of the wheels in all of the colours." lol

No mate - double dutch
Anyone interested in photoshop classes visit the apple store in Regent Street London!!
The guys in the "studio" can answer any of your Q\'s on how to do stuff, show you how to do it and leave you to have a play with one of their demo machines... anyone with a PC, Photoshop is simillar on both platforms!
Just take Jinx\'s Quote in and they will walk you through it! :D
Hi Jinx,
Is there any chance of photoshopping this blue Rexy to a RED??
Cheers, if possible,
Pete :wave
Just thought i\'d get a few opinions b4 i commit:
Stu
Stu,
As per another thread, these wheels are beautiful..In the flesh, they match their quality..Believe me, i saw them at Geff\'s new place--White may look a bit "mean", but quality always beats that....
Another baby on the way, so that\'s where my dosh is going!!
Pete:p
PS Are your current alloys original or after-market?
Sorry Pete - just found that one about changing blue to red. I\'ve obviously upset Explorer - it has been editing my viewing. Will fix tomorrow (today) if the one from ORi in the post below it does not answer the question. Been sat in front of this thing since 8am this morning - bed for now.
Cheers
Andrew
Soooo many reflections. Photoshop - the colouring book for almost grown ups. Done same way as before but with a (very) little more finesse (Explanation in Greek and Dutch available above. Lol)

No. This is...
It is always handy to have a Greek guy in the forum!!!:rollin

Those wheels do look nice..... I have a set of them on my RX (but in a gold type colour, see below pic). Would recommend those AVS model 5\'s :D
