Title: Stupid Question - Is O2 sensor needed?
Post by: Welsh Dan on February 03, 2005, 09:30:40 PM
I ask because not only has the wire broken off from the sensor, I can\'t find where the bleeder plugs into anyway?

I\'m running a PowerFC, Decat, Downpipe, Non-sequential twins and i\'ve binned the air pump, if it makes any difference? I\'ve turned off the O2 F/B sensor on the settings on the PowerFC but its not showing any error codes anyway?

Thanks

Your car will constantly run in open loop mode, and therfor set air/fuel ratio from map rather than constantly trtying to reach 14.7 to 1.

Nope, no bad thing!

I normally turn o2 feedback off on modded cars, it tends to screw up idle.
