Hi all,
I have on order a C-West sleek headlight kit, I have since been reading about: -
1) dodgy build quality
2) awkward to fit
3) not very good lighting
all of which, of course, are subject to interpretation. Wanted to
know if anyone had any experience with fitting and running this
particular kit?

I\'ve got them, didn\'t fit them though, I\'ve heard they can be a bugger to (cutting away things to fit them in)
I\'ve driven in the dark quite a lot and they are fine. May wanna lob some bright bulbs in them to make yer experience all the better. Albeit I never driven with the popups but there\'s no less sight in that than any of my previous cars
Build quality on it\'s fine too.. just don\'t drive into a brick wall as they are expensive :p
I am at least getting them fiitted professionally (if I decide to go ahead with them...). Having to cut away at anything concerns me though as it would make it an irreversible mod.
The major worry is the lighting performance, I\'ve read they are not actual headlights, but fog lights; would these be illegal in the UK? And is the lighting sub-standard?
wouldn\'t they be biased the wrong way ? ie. set up to drive on the right and not on the left ?
On no, another concern to add to the list! I did not even know/consider if they would be biased.
a) I would have thought if they were biased a particular way, then they would be configurable?
b) They are coming from Japan, wouldn\'t they be set up for driving on the left anyway?
if they are for japanese use they should be OK ... if they are setup for US roads they will not pass an MOT
just make sure before you buy

AndyP, did you get your headlight kit from the US or Japan? Can you tell if it is biased for left or right side of the road driving?
Cheerz for the invite to take a look at your headlight kit, but I\'m in deep now, I have already coughed up the money and the kit arrived in the UK (at RE:Worx) yesterday, so I\'m stuck with it now!
I\'ll get the guys who are going to be installing it (MotorMall) to give me an assessment when they see it.
Chris, if as I understand it you bought it from Geff at ReWorx you will have the Jap kit. They will only supply the correct parts.

if it helps, mine are fully jap and they are fine, I havn\'t noticed any kind of bias on them, they just look like normal headlights to me! :D
p.s. where abouts are ya in Beds.. havn\'t seen too many Rexs about
Evil Rotor, so far I have paid £1000 for them, the final cost is as yet unkown, am waiting to hear from Geff.
Fish, yep, I have ordered them through Geff, it\'s nice to read that he has a good reputation.
Andyp, still waiting for my Rex to arrive :( I should have my hands on it end of July/beginning of August. I haven\'t seen many Rex\'s around in Beds either.
