Title: 96-02 power FC owners - please help
Post by: DaiOni on January 29, 2005, 08:05:34 AM
bit of a long shot here, but if anyone has a power fc from 96-02 (for types iv, or v/vi) - I\'m in desperate need of a photo of the rear port (connector area).

anyone got one sitting on the shelf?

I don\'t have one in front of me but the 96-02 power fc connector
is rectangular and the 92-95 one is square.

Early cars have 4 connectors to the loom, late ones 3 from recollection.

top one is unknown - trying to verify whether it is a IV, or a V/VI unit... or something totally different

bottom one is definitely a I-III unit

I was about to say the bottom one isnt an FD Power FC...

So the late ones have 4 connectors, the early ones have 3 then I think?

both have four - but the later (16bit) ones are much larger

the serial # is not on the FC, but there is a serial for the required commander (ends 5002) - I\'m pretty sure I can use this to confirm the exact unit - but apexi has changed over to a universal commander - so their catalogue is totally different.

if anyone could match the commander to the unit - I\'d be very, very grateful (need help getting parts in japan??)
