Title: Which ECU???
Post by: Rixio on January 25, 2005, 02:12:37 AM
Just wondering for future reference (or maybe purcase!! ) which aftermarket ECU are you guyz using and why...
Do you find there to be much difference between them...
Which would be best allrounder for stage one mods, stage 2 mods (is a front mount under stage 1 or 2?) and then finally stage 3...
Or are they all the same?
What kind of prices and where to get the best deal...??

Thanks

By far the most popular choice is the Apexi Power FC, relatively cheap and a number of people can supply/tune - try the vendors that advertise here.

Apexi, definitely.

They can be re-mapped evertime you do something to the car..

It\'s a good question, I\'ve wondered about it for some time.  I think unless you\'ve absolutely got your heart set on a make, or are going for a tripple/quad rotor mo-fo then I would suggest the Apexi PFC.  Simply because they\'re the most popular in the country (and will continue to be) and most tuners have the equipment to map them properly.  They also do everything you need them too...
