Title: Standard dump valve & charge relief valve
Post by: dturpin on January 23, 2005, 12:44:32 PM
A while ago I took off the standard dump valve and the charge relief valve, I basically want to know i there is any difference betweenthe two valve even though they look the same, as I am not to sure if I have put them back on in the correct places, I may have swapped them around by mistake.

They should be labelled up, 1 says CRV and the other ABV?.

QuoteNote that the operating points of the Charge Relief Valve are different from the Air Bypass Valve, but can be interchanged temporarily for testing.

Cheers for that mate, does the CRV go to the top of the turbo manifold at the back of the engine and not the front?
