Title: FD3S Luminescent dial/gauge kit
Post by: leggysrx7 on January 23, 2005, 12:22:23 PM
Hey...

I\'ve spotted one of these for sale on ebay, and it looks sweet...thinking of getting one. Any idea\'s if there\'s anywhere that sells them??

..i\'m hopeful of winning the auction on ebay, but would like a backup plan...think it would look very good on my silver FD...

Thanks

Marc

A couple of years ago, I bought a couple of electro-luminescent gauges. They were Autometer, in their "Lunar" range. White backed, with black writing, but at night, with the dash lights on, they glow light green. Looked very smart! I looked for them again last year, but couldn\'t find them anymore. The place I bought them from still sells Autometer stuff, but the Lunars aren\'t listed anymore. Thats not to say they may be able to order them, I don\'t know. I had to wait 3 months for mine to come from the States.

there\'s a US company called procarparts that sell them, they sell the reverse glow gauges which look really good the only problem is that they only accept payment from international customers by AMEX which i have\'nt got.  if anyone has got an AMEX card and are going to order some please let me know as i would love some of these.

you can find them here http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.asp?sku=MZ93R7%2D1784RGX

I have used ProcarParts before and they usually accept international bank drafts. Just ask the bank to get one made out to them.

amazon.com have some listed.  I\'m sure they used to have another type listed but cant find \'em at the mo....

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0002XI65Q/qid%3D1106787396/sr%3D11-1/ref%3Dsr%5F11%5F1/002-8284464-7403209

if this doesnt work, search on amazon.com for "rx7 gauge".  Have always thought would be safer to buy through amazon rather than procarparts.com

I got my kit on ebay from a seller called MSISPEED.  I notice they\'re not selling any more, however I spotted this one...

It\'s the same kit I have and I would say whatever floats your boat.  I don\'t think the kit is that good, but it\'ll do...
