Right guys a few people have said to me why dont i get a roof scoop, i said no way at first but after thinking about it for some time the idea is playing on me!.
Has any one done this?? does any one have any pics of an rx7 with a roof scoop, should i avoid trying to do this any help guys? cheers!!

I think this is in the realms of l.e.d windscreen washer nozzles, stick on bonnet vents or something really class I\'ve seen recently is the shark fin with l.e.d (below), just stick it on your roof and away you go..amazing!!
Why have an air scoop [on the roof] when you have full air con :( I could understand if you were making an out and out track /rally car and losing the air con ect.
Besides one of the nicest lines on the rex is the roof with its gentle dip and you are proposing putting a scoop on .......... you should be banned from ownership:reallymad [grin]

I couldn\'t agree more. Don\'t spoile the roof for somehting that has no purpose.

I sorry guys but I\'ve been thinking about this since I got my 7 and I liked the one in the pic , would have to be really smoothed in though and functional , only thing thats putting me off at the mo is having to cut up the head linning to fit the vents and the fact that the drip tray may overflow
this is way down on my to do list so I will probably never get round to it anyway
The Veilside drag cars all use roof scoops .... but they are there to push cold air onto the relocated rad which is in the boot .. basically with all their rwd cars they move anything heavy to the boot area to aid with traction ... although they don\'t run an FD drag car their Supra drag car has this along with Drag R1 ..
I\'ve often thought about how effective it would be .. roof scoop on the FD with the Rad in the boot
