Title: Heater / Fuses - help needed please
Post by: Jools on January 18, 2005, 06:15:16 PM
Hello all, I need a bit of help / advice.

The heater in my 1994 Type RZ does not seem to want to work.

The car is quite well tuned and I therefore don\'t want to risk playing around with things that may break without at least asking for some informed help.

I have checked the connections behind the dash fascia of the heater switches and all are connected.

Therefore this leads me to believe the a fuse has blown, or that where some aftermarket gauges are connected - they are drawing a feed from the heater wires.

The aircon of the car does not have a fuse - and inserting a fuse into the engine bay aircon slot does not get the heater working.

Basically no fan comes on to push air into the cockpit - so my guess is fuse or shorted connection.

Any advice welcomed.

Thanks in advance

Jools
