Hi all,
Im toying with the idea of fitting a water injection kit to my FD, so my Q\'s are;
1. After ive fitted the WI will i need a remap ASAP or am i safe running it without until i get time to organise a remap?
2. Where are people fitting the water container, the boot?
3. Im asuming i\'l need baffle plates in the WI tank to prevent running dry?
4. Where are people installing the WI nozzle turbo scoll? just before intercooler? Intake elbow? or a multiple of nozzles?
5. Will i have to install the pump as close to the nozzle/s as possible or can this also be mounted in the boot?
6. Has anyone run into problems when running with WI, i.e remapping using WB-02 with it giving a wrong reading due to them not being calibrated for this?
Scott
depending what system u go for
either get a tank made for the water or use suitable container
pump if strong can be mounted in boot
shouldn need remap as it is just lowering the intake temp
aquamist pump may not be upto the job if mounted in boot
several us companies do some good kits
water tank if alloy shld have baffle plates but can have a water level sender as well just need to make sure the water wont run out due hard cornering if boosting
injection nozzle is mounted either in plenum elbow or just before
I\'m looking into this at the moment.
this might be useful (http://www.coolingmist.com/installation.aspx)
the coolingmist kits seem pretty good value.. even with the vat and duty
try this one for some info

I previously had a system on my TII that used the windscreen washer tank for the reservoir. Aparently the screen wash contains methanol so makes things better anyway.
Anyone tryed installing a mini air to water radiator in their set up for aditional cooling?
water tank------pump-----radiator-----nozzle?
Cheers Scott.
