Title: an unpleasant surprise!!
Post by: rotorhead666 on January 16, 2005, 12:58:51 PM
whilst overtaking on a dual carriageway the other day,my throttle cable decided to stay fully open, and continue revving past the redline,so i had to hastily overtake and pull over, switching the engine off!i was surprised to see that it had turned the fanbelt inside out, too! As i had no lubricant with me,i had to manually work the throttle cable until it was moving freely again.Anyone else had this happen to them?
