Has anyone got vertical doors on the rx.

WOW I think they look the bo**ocks but 650, not sure if this is bad or good.
I have contacted the seller about buying a kit or a couple if anyone else is interested to keep the cost down, I will be speaking to him tomorrow, if he is willing to drop his price I said I will attend a few meets once mine is fitted to see if anyone else is interested in buying one, thought it was worth a try and I will do my best to flog to other 7 owners at meets if I get it cheap and it fits well.
Anyne fitted one before, practicality wise has anyone had any problems if they have had the mod done.
What price do you think they are worth, or what would you pay for this mod.

I looked into this awhile ago.
Fitment on the kits isnt as straight forward as the instructions say, and most kits need modifying to fit.
Prices are from around £1000 upwards.
The ones i looked at seemed to be really delicate too so i decided against it in the end.
I think Dragon sell a kit that has already been modified to fit.
I\'d check out a kit fitted. Most of these cheapo door conversions are rubbish quality and flap about all over the place when open. Rubbish! :D

I spoke to the guy today, best speaking to the seller in my opinion and well needless to say I was not overwelmed with confidence, some may say I am being unfair but here is how our chat went.
First off funny how he was fitting one to a RX7 when I rang, and how its a kit made specificly for the 7 but he listed 20 or so other cars and each kit is made perfectly for each car, so why so cheap towards other kits?
Says he sold 4 kits so far, not a lot of 7\'s about I would have thought one would be to a group member?
He only makes 50 quid on each kit.
I asked for install pics seeing as he was doing one to a 7 when I spoke to him, he said he would so I will see if any pics turn up.
The guy seemed nice enough, I may ask to speak to someone he has sold a kit too and see what they thought.
I am going to give Dragon a call and see how much the kit is form them, I will also compare pics of the kit from dragon to the kit on ebay.

speak to gary at rotary tarts i think he has these on his and sells them as well
Gary\'s are full on powered pneumatic jobs built by Steve at DS Engineering which cost a few K I believe, nothing like these kits.
