Greetings to all......my first post, so... hello.
Right then, i REALLY want a 3rd gen Rex, will hopefully be able to get one by the end of 2005... but what i\'d like to do is go see a rotary specialist, ask some questions and see a few examples.
I\'ve done a few net searches and been looking through this (excellent) forum for a couple of months now. One place i found on the net is called \'Optimum Autos\' in Mosley, Birmingham.
This is my closest as far as i can tell. Does anyone know anything about them?? I.e. Have they got a good rep?
Are there any Rex owners in the Redditch area who might be able to let me know where they use?? Possibly over a pint or something, i\'m buying :D !

Your closest specialist is probably Dragon Performance in Exeter.
However i think there are a couple of members in Worcester and in Cheltenham so you could head there if someone woudl be willing to show you there cars.

I\'ve never heard of optimum autos, but judging by where you live I\'d say you may as well go upto WGT nr Manchester.
Cheers guys, Manchester is probably closer than Exeter - but it\'s a nicer run down to Exeter - much nicer drive, so i\'ll probably head down there.
I know there are at least 2 rex owners somewhere in my area, 1 who lives (or visits) near my mate but everytime i go round the car isn\'t there, most annoying. The other is dark Green that i saw driving past a couple of weeks ago... t\'was very nice!
I\'ve got plenty of time anyway, but still \'patience is a virtue\' doesn\'t always cut it does it...lol.

I think i\'ll send Ross an e-mail at some point this week and ask him when it would be convienient to go down and see him... might even fit it in with a friday night trip to Plymouth (my old Uni town) for a night on the lash!

Update - gave Ross a call - very helpful - going to see him on Friday! Really looking forward to it!
Went to see Ross yesterday - nice guy who answered a load of my questions..... and, oh the cars!!! I was looking around to see if i could sell my soul to buy one right there and then!! lol.
But i think i\'m gonna be patient and make sure i can buy it outright, as the running costs would make it impractical for me to commute with (i need to keep my other car for that!)
